Is that website down for everyone or just me?

How many times have you waited to call your ISP or hosting provider for tech support wondering if a site was genuinely down or if it’s just your internet connection failing you. Well wonder no more twitter.com developer Alex Payne has created a web tool to check just that. You can reach it at the incredibly descriptive url http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ .

SafariScreenSnapz001It’s not an overly complicated tool by any means simply enter in the website you want to check and click the “or just me?” link and it will tell you either “Yikes! name of site is actually down!” or “It’s just you. name of site is up. So now you never need to wonder “is it just me?”
